Dr. Robert Ramirez trained in Internal Medicine at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, and completed his training in Allergy and Immunology in 2009 at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. He has since been in practice serving both adults and children in the San Antonio area with much compassion and respect.
His clinical interests include many forms of allergic disease including rhinitis and sinus disease, respiratory diseases, skin rashes, food and medication allergies, among other immune diseases. At the same time he is actively involved in research as a Principal Investigator in national clinical trials on different allergic and respiratory diseases. He has published papers covering some of the more rare immune respiratory conditions.
He loves spending time with his wife and kids, and has different hobby interests like golfing, playing guitar, and board gaming.
Daniel A. Ramirez Jr., M.D.
Dr. Daniel Ramirez Jr. graduated from medical school at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center of San Antonio. After his residency training at Miami Children’s Hospital, he worked in private practice as a pediatrician in Miami for two years. He then received his fellowship training in adult and pediatric allergy at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Ramirez Jr. has quickly built a reputation amongst his patients for providing exemplary levels of service. He is readily available for walk-ins and frequently calls to check on their progress. From entertaining children with his already-famous “Roxie” raccoon puppet to integrating virtually pain-free skin testing and shots in our practice, patients have good reasons to be pleased.
Dr. Ramirez’s interests include allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, asthma, and primary immune deficiency.
Jeffrey Hallett, M.D.
Dr. Hallett has been in private practice since 1987 and is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and immunology.
A native of West Virginia, Dr. Hallett graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from West Virginia University. He received his medical degree from the West Virginia University School of Medicine. Dr. Hallett completed his Pediatric Residency and his Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Fellowship at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio. He also served as the Chief of the Allergy and Immunology service at the USAF Regional Medical Center at Scott AFB, Illinois.
Married with one daughter, Dr. Hallett also lectures nationally and internationally on topics including Allergy and Immunology, Asthma, Sublingual Immunotherapy (Oral Allergy Drops) and Allergy and Asthma Practice Standards.
Robert L. Jacobs, M.D., P.A.
Dr Robert Jacobs is one of the original partners of Jacobs & Ramirez Allergy/Immunology, the original name of our practice. Along with Daniel Ramirez Sr., they started the group in 1996. Dr. Jacobs has practiced allergy and clinical immunology for 40 years. He has authored more than 40 articles concerning adverse drug reactions, chronic nasal disorders, and environmentally-induced lung diseases. He has been selected by his peers as one of the Best Doctors in America for 15 consecutive years. He was awarded a Life-time Achievement Award in 2009 by the medical and business community of San Antonio for his research in environmentally-induced fibrosis of the lung.
Dr. Jacobs is currently participating in clinical research full-time, at the Biogenics Research Institute and Biogenics Research Chamber.

Dr Daniel Ramirez Sr. is one of the original partners of Jacobs & Ramirez Allergy/Immunology, the original name of our practice. Along with Dr. Robert Jacobs, they started the group in 1996.
Dr. Daniel Ramirez has been providing relief to allergy sufferers in South Texas for over thirty years. By providing compassionate care to patients of all ages, Dr. Ramirez has always made patients feel right at home while under his care. He is a well-respected member of the medical community and has an excellent reputation amongst his peers. More importantly, Dr. Ramirez has earned the loyalty and trust of his patients, frequently receiving their referrals to see families and friends.
His particular interests include asthma, respiratory allergy, chronic urticaria, insect allergy (fire ants, bees and wasps), drug and food allergies.
